Pimple in my ear lob?

i got a pimple in the middle of my ear lob been there for a long time. its fat and it hurts if i squeeze it.
there is no tip to it its deep in the middle.
been there for about month.
can i take an ice and numb my ear lob and pierce the back with a sterilized needle to get the hard puss out. ( i have feeling its no longer in liquid form its like dry puss or something)

I'm not sure. I've had one inside my ear, not really inside lol but in between the cartilage and the entrance of the ear. it was their for a while, it wouldn't go away, i took a q-tip and keep't poking it until it popped. and then i had to do that like 2 more times. it was painful. You could try that, but be very careful. Just try poking the actual pimple softly with the needle, just enough to break the skin open slightly, and then play with it. That should be the end of it. :--]

thank you i didn't want to visit a dermatologist so they could drain my money.
you answered my question!
Your money situation is relative considering the options. You need to make better decisions in the future or else heavy regret will set in.

Go to a trained dermatologist and have them lance it. Next time decrease the glycemic index in your diet.

edit: do NOT follow ☜♥Mimi♥☞'s "advice." Unless you are a properly trained surgeon and know how to effectively sanitize medical instruments, will WILL develop an infection which can easily spread to other areas, giving you the misfortune of an emergency room visit - which you will have to pay out of pocket for, and thus also deal with higher health insurance premiums, assuming you have coverage.
