I'm freakin out! Pllllease tell me a nice bar/club in L.A. where interesting people hang!!!!?

I've been in L.A. for 6 months now. My bff keeps taking me to all these r&b/jazz/funk bars which is not my cup of tea. I haven't even met anybody so far to spark my interest. I like top 40 music, rock, pop and fed up of meeting losers all the time at the places I go to. Im sure this is not how L.A. is supposed to be. I want to meet crazy outgoing people but who also have class and style and really something to say other than mumbling. Where should I go??????

I'm sorry, all the good clubs are private. If you are hot enough, someone will invite you. Keep dressing to kill, and show what you got.
